Dear NBTMS Families,

Welcome to North Brunswick Township Middle School!  NBTMS is a state of the art facility that houses a learning community of 7th and 8th grade students divided into two grade-level House Centers.  We have a dedicated team of teachers, administrators, counselors and staff who are here to support our students along their middle school journey.

At the core of our curriculum are courses in Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. This core is supported by our Life Skills (elective) courses where students explore Health, Physical Education, Music, Art, Technology and World Languages.  We are a one-to-one school in which each student has access to a district Dell Chromebook.

North Brunswick Township Middle School offers its students a wide variety of co-curricular opportunities. NBTMS has over 20 clubs including Student Council, Yearbook, Debate Club, School Newspaper, Academic Challenge, National Junior Honor Society, Art, and several others. We also have performance based groups, such as our band, jazz band, chorus, orchestra and drama club.

Additionally, we have a strong athletic program which includes Football, Cheerleading, Cross Country, Wrestling, Softball, Baseball, Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball and Lacrosse.   We believe that providing students with opportunities to participate in a variety of activities will support their intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development as young adolescents. 

North Brunswick Township Middle School works closely with a Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) and the community to ensure a partnership in our students’ education. The PTSO sponsors various mini-grant programs for staff in support of innovative learning opportunities, Book Fairs to encourage reading, and educational assemblies to promote a positive and constructive learning environment.

We have a full child study team, counseling department and several programs to support our students academically, emotionally and socially during their time in middle school.

Our success at North Brunswick Township Middle School is the direct result of the combined efforts of the family and the school.  With a dedicated staff and administration and a supportive parent community, North Brunswick Township Middle School will maintain a reputation for caring about each student and supporting them towards achievement.  Our goal is to foster the success of our students as they prepare to lead responsible and productive lives.
